Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed
We’re excited to announce auditions for Tiny Beautiful Things, a powerful, heartfelt play based on Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling book, adapted by Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding). The show centers on Sugar — an anonymous advice columnist — and the real-life letters she receives from readers navigating love, loss, addiction, and hope.
ROLES NEEDED:

Sugar (Female, 30–50): Honest, warm, funny, and deeply compassionate. A former addict and now a writer and mom who gives advice by sharing raw, personal stories.

Letter Writers (2 Men, 1 Woman – Any age/background): Actors play multiple roles (10–12 each), requiring strong emotional range and clear character transitions.

NOTE: The show contains adult themes (addiction, grief, intimacy, strong language). All actors remain on stage throughout.
