Auditions for Upcoming Shows

We’re excited to announce auditions for Tiny Beautiful Things, a powerful, heartfelt play based on Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling book, adapted by Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding). The show centers on Sugar — an anonymous advice columnist — and the real-life letters she receives from readers navigating love, loss, addiction, and hope.

 

ROLES NEEDED:

 

• Sugar (Female, 30–50): Honest, warm, funny, and deeply compassionate. A former addict and now a writer and mom who gives advice by sharing raw, personal stories.

   

• Letter Writers (2 Men, 1 Woman – Any age/background): Actors play multiple roles (10–12 each), requiring strong emotional range and clear character transitions.

   

AUDITION DETAILS:

 

• Dates:

   

  • Sunday, June 8, 6–9 PM

     

  • Tuesday, June 10, 7–10 PM

     

  • Callbacks (if needed): Wednesday, June 11, 7–10 PM

     

• Location: People Care Center, 120 Finderne Ave, Bridgewater, NJ

   

• Format: Script readings, improv exercises, group work

   

• Sides: Available upon request

   

• No sign-up required — just show up!

   

• Open to all ethnicities and ages

   

PERFORMANCE DATES:

 

• September 12–14 & 19–21, 2025

   

• Rehearsals start around July 7 (flexible schedule based on cast)

   

NOTE: The show contains adult themes (addiction, grief, intimacy, strong language). All actors remain on stage throughout.
